For anyone who is serious about getting their website to rank high and get free traffic from the search engines, you have got to consciously reduce your website bounce rate; and one way you can do this is through video embeds.

An increased time-on-site percentage for your site sends out a positive signal to the Search Engines that people found what they were searching for on your site that made them spend more time on it.

The truth is, the video doesn’t have to be done by you; what counts is that they are relevant to the page you post them on and that they provide value to your viewers.

Bounce Rates are a critical metric Google uses in determining which site ranks more than the other in the Search Engine Result Pages (SERP). So be sure to add videos to your blogging or website content strategy. Even if you don’t have the time to fully run blogs on a consistent basis on your site, you can create basic informational videos that will explain to your site visitors what your product or service is about. By doing this, you get them spend more time on your site when they watch videos.

This simple addition can just be what will make your site rank a position higher than that of your competitors.
